  1. Henry McCullough is from Portstewart in Northern Ireland. He honed his guitar playing on the Irish showband circuit of the 60's.

  2. Henry was the only Irish musician to play at Woodstock in 1969 as lead guitarist with Joe Cocker and The Grease Band.

  3. Henry arranged and played the guitar parts on the original recording of Jesus Christ Superstar.

  4. Henry's first solo album was released on George Harrison's Dark Horse label. Apart from George, only Ravi Shankar and an elite handful of artists were on this label.

  5. Henry made a short spoken contribution to Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon.

  6. Most of the tracks on his latest CD Poor Man's Moon were co-written with Horslips drummer Eamonn Carr.

  7. Henry's song Failed Christian has been covered by Nick Lowe, Dave Alvin and Christian band Over The Rhine.
